Laundry Basket Bathtime & Storytime In a Costume

Yesterday I decided to transition her from her baby tub (that I would put in the sink) and went to this. I saw this idea online - and it's genius! I don't even have to fill the tub up much to give her a good bath. And she doesn't slip and slide everywhere. She's more happier in it than her baby tub. When I wash her I say "here comes the waterfall!" & she is starting to find it more funny than annoying when the water washes over her face.
Let her explore the tub for a little bit. Probably the longest bath she's ever had because she was able to move more freely and have more fun. Love her.
I really need one of these straps for my changing table at home. It would make changing her diaper a lot easier! We changed and got into our costume here before the Halloween party/story time at the library.
Hanging out with her friend Mary the Lady bug

She sat and listened for a while. She was really interested in the costumes I think. But she lost interest fast and was more interested in meeting new people.

A little something inspiring. The trees are absolutely beautiful right now!! I keep wishing we could go take some family pictures out in it. Or just go around and take picutres of the beautiful fall landscape. But it's been raining non-stop. I think it's from the hurricane that hit down south in Mexico. We are supposed to get 50 mph winds here too.

But I have been thinking that I really do like Fall more and more as I get older. It's less about the dread of cold weather coming, and more about the excitement of change to come and all the holiday festivities. It's a time to come back into ourselves and reflect. While spring and summer are times to release all the built up energy that we accumulate in the fall and winter. A time to recognize and remember what really matters.
